Conway is the county seat of Faulkner County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 58,908 at the 2010 census and 60,470 at the 2011 population estimate, making Conway the seventh most populous city in Arkansas. It is a principal city of the Little Rock–North Little Rock–Conway Metropolitan Statistical Area, which had 709,901 people in 2011 and with 886,992 people in the combined area. Conway is home to three post-secondary educational institutions, earning it the nickname "The City of Colleges."

The Little Rock-North Little Rock-Conway, AR Metropolitan Statistical Area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau, is a six-county area in central Arkansas, and anchored by state's capital and largest city, Little Rock. The total MSA population in United States Census estimate 2012 was 717,666 people, having grown from 610,518 people in 2000.
Prior to 2002, the area consisted of four core counties: Pulaski, Faulkner, Saline and Lonoke. The area was later expanded to include adjoining Perry County to the west, and Grant County to the south. The city of Conway was designated as a third principal city for the metro area by 2007.

Conway, South Carolina
Conway is a city in Horry County, South Carolina. The population was 16,317 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Horry County and is part of the Myrtle Beach metropolitan area. It is the home of Coastal Carolina University.
Numerous buildings and structures located in Conway are on the National Register of Historic Places. Among these is the City Hall building, reputedly designed by Robert Mills, architect of the Washington Monument. Since the completion of the Main Street USA project in the 1980s, Conway's downtown has been revitalized with shops and bistros. Highlighting the renovation of the downtown area is the Riverwalk, an area of fine dining which follows a stretch of the Waccamaw River that winds through Conway.
