Los Angeles (i/ /, / / or i/ /, Spanish: Los Ángeles [los ˈaŋxeles] meaning The Angels), officially the City of Los Angeles, often known by its initials L.A., is the most populous city in the U.S. state of California and the second-most populous in the United States, after New York, with a population at the 2010 United States Census of 3,792,621. It has an area of 469 square miles (1,215 km2), and is located in Southern California.
The city is the focal point of the larger Los Angeles metropolitan area, which contains 12,828,837, making it one of the most populous metropolitan areas in the world and the second-largest in the United States. The Pen Centre
Stonewood Center is a shopping mall located in Downey, California. It is located at the intersection of Firestone and Lakewood Boulevards. Surrounded by I-5 to the north, I-710 to the west, I-605 to the east and I-105 to the south, the mall serves both Los Angeles and Orange counties. The mall is owned and operated by The Macerich Company and is part of its trifecta of malls in southeast Los Angeles County along with the Los Cerritos Center in Cerritos and the Lakewood Center in Lakewood. Stonewood Center comprises 170 stores, including several restaurants.
The mall is anchored by J.C. Penney, Macy's, Kohl's and Sears.
The Pen Centre (originally The Niagara Peninsula Shopping Centre) is the largest mall in the Niagara Region, located in St. Catharines, Ontario. At one point, The Pen was the fourth largest mall in Canada, with over one million square feet of floor space. Located next to the Highway 406, it features over 180 stores, three major department stores, a supermarket, six restaurants, a ten-screen movieplex, a women-only health club, and five big-box format stores. It has the region's only H&M store and renovations have added more screens into the movieplex.
In 2011, the mall began a $13 million renovation of the common area, including 3,600 sq. ft. of new skylights, new food court, floors and ceiling treatments. Target announced that it will open a store in the centre's Zellers location on November 22, 2013.
