TEEN LINE is a non-profit teen help hotline based out of the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. There is also a branch in Reseda and, most recently, one in Riverside. The line is open nightly from 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 PST and can be reached in California by calling (310) 855-4673 or anywhere in the world at (800) 852-8336 .

TEEN LINE has been running since 1980, making it one of the oldest help hotlines in the country. The line employs teen volunteers who are currently in (or, in the case of the summer training group, about to enter) high school, and selects the members of an upcoming training group from a pool of applicants through a written application and an interview. All teens who are accepted into the program undergo a rigorous training process to ensure that they are ready to take calls. TEEN LINE volunteers also answer emails sent in through the online form on the TEEN LINE website, as well as using an online chat.
