Food is any substance consumed to provide nutritional support for the body. It is usually of plant or animal origin, and contains essential nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals. Coca-Cola BlāK was a coffee-flavored soft drink introduced by Coca-Cola in 2006 and discontinued in 2008. The mid-calorie drink was introduced first in France, before making its way to the United States and other markets.
Coca-Cola BlāK launched in the United States on April 3, 2006. Coca-Cola BlāK launched in Canada on August 29, 2006 with an event staged in Toronto, Ontario at Dundas Square offering free bottles of the product. On 31 August 2007, trade magazine Beverage Digest announced that Coca-Cola would discontinue the drink's sale within the United States once concentrate supplies ran out.
