Is it legal for a civilian to wear a bulletproof vest in New York City?


Under the James Guelff and Chris McCurley Body Armor Act of 2002 it is legal for anyone who has not been convicted of a violent crime to purchase, own or possess body armor such as a bulletproof vest.
