Makeover reality television series are television series which focus on makeovers.
Long an element of daytime talk shows, they have recently moved into the limelight in television shows such as Queer Eye. Other popular makeover shows include What Not to Wear, Extreme Makeover, Ambush Makeover and Pimp My Ride.
Wayne Scot Lukas is an American fashion consultant, best known as the former co-host of the makeover reality program What Not to Wear which broadcasts on TLC in the United States and Canada. Clinton Kelly took over as co-host in 2003.
Lukas' client list has included Janet Jackson, Tina Turner, Cindy Crawford, Christie Brinkley, Lauren Hutton, Halle Berry, Glenn Close, and Meryl Streep.
A social issue (also called a social problem or a social situation) is an issue that relates to society's perception of a person's personal lives. Different cultures have different perceptions and what may be "normal" behavior in one society may be a significant social issue in another society. Social issues are distinguished from economic issues. Some issues have both social and economic aspects, such as immigration. There are also issues that don't fall into either category, such as wars.
