Yes warm chamomile tea is soothing to a sore throat. You can also try a warm chamomile poultice: Mix 1 tbsp dried chamomile flowers into 1 or 2 cups boiling water; steep for 5 min, then strain. Soak a cloth in it and wring out, apply to throat.
